Brand Identity for ESGPost

Overview

Civic Spectrum was given the mandate to design the brand identity for ESGPost, a Singapore-based media startup focussed on the environmental, social, and governance sector. A sustainability intelligence platform delivering ESG news, analysis, and insights from around the world, the platform aims to empower decision-makers in the domain. Our partnership with ESGPost stands as yet another testament to our broader mission of helping purpose-driven organisations communicate their work with power and precision.

Project Goals

From the outset, our team worked closely with ESGPost’s founder to ensure the visual identity reflected the brand’s core values: intelligence and impact. The primary objective was to craft a cohesive and contemporary brand identity that would establish ESGPost as a credible, go-to platform for sustainability intelligence. In a competitive and rapidly evolving landscape, the brand needed to stand out as the definitive voice in ESG news and insights.

We focussed on ensuring visual consistency across all digital touch points, with an identity system that conveyed both credibility and accessibility; empowering time-pressed senior decision-makers to stay on top of complex sustainability topics with clarity, precision, and lasting impact.

Our Approach

We began with discovery sessions to align on ESGPost’s values, voice, and audience. These insights, combined with competitive analysis and industry best practices, guided the creation of a bold yet approachable brand mark and a flexible design language built for clarity across formats and platforms. The identity was designed to be highly legible, even at small sizes, while maintaining a structurally classic feel that projects the credibility and intelligence essential for high-stakes decision-makers.

Our design process prioritised clarity, legibility, forward-thinking adaptability, and a strong visual hierarchy to ensure the brand could confidently communicate complex ESG topics. To future-proof the identity, we also developed modular content systems to support ESGPost’s evolving editorial and digital publishing needs.

Result

ESGPost launched in 2024 with a professional and distinctive brand presence that has quickly earned trust within the ESG space. The identity system continues to scale with the platform’s growth, supporting its editorial efforts and amplifying its message across channels.
