A second-generation digital platform for a legal network working in a conflict region.
Overview
The Ukraine Legal Network needed to move beyond the single-page site we had previously created for them. The new bilingual website brings their legal resources, news, events and podcast together in one clear, accessible platform, while remaining fast, flexible and manageable by a small team operating in a challenging environment.
Goals

Approach
We rebuilt the information architecture before redesigning the interface, organising the site around how audiences actually access ULN’s work. The CMS was then designed around the team’s real publishing needs, giving them the ability to manage and update content independently across both language versions.
The visual system builds on ULN’s existing identity, using a restrained palette inspired by the Ukrainian national colours, supported by clear typography, strong hierarchy and an uncluttered interface.
Result
A faster, clearer and more maintainable bilingual digital platform that brings ULN’s legal work, news, events and knowledge resources together in one place. The organisation can now manage and update the site independently, while Civic Spectrum continues to provide ongoing maintenance and technical support.
