An identity for a global competence centre at the forefront of the green hydrogen transition.
Overview
The Center of Excellence for Hydrogen (CoE-H) was conceived as an Indo-Norwegian Global Competence Center for Green Hydrogen, bringing together government, industry, research and academia from India and Norway. The platform was designed to accelerate collaboration, research, knowledge exchange and innovation around the emerging hydrogen economy.
As founding partners, in association with our advisory partner SSARMA Consults, we were tasked with defining how this new institution would look, feel and communicate.

Approach
We began by studying leading international hydrogen initiatives to identify an appropriate space for CoE-H within the global clean-energy ecosystem. We then developed a visual language that brought together scientific precision, clean-energy symbolism and Nordic minimalism, while remaining accessible to audiences beyond the scientific community.
The tagline, ‘Make A Start. Play Your Part.’, became an extension of this idea, combining a call to action with a subtle play on the word art. This provided a conceptual bridge between the urgency of the hydrogen transition and the distinctive visual language developed for the brand.
The resulting identity was carried through the website, illustrations, infographics, presentations and event communications, creating a consistent system that could evolve with the institution.
Result
A distinctive art-inspired brand and digital platform for an emerging Indo-Norwegian green hydrogen institution. The identity gave CoE-H a clear and confident voice across scientific, policy and industry audiences, while the modular website and visual system created a foundation for its continuing programmes, partnerships and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
